1975 Captain Kirk

The Don Post 1975 Kirk is the mask that started it all for the Myers world. It was the mask that was converted by removing the side burns, opening the eye holes, painting the mask white and spaying the hair dark brown to become the horror icon that this site is based on, Michael Myers.

After many discussions with employees of Don Post Studios and Don Post Jr. himself, I've concluded that only 100 to 150 1975 Kirk were actually made, given that Spock was a more popular Halloween costume for Star Trek fans to dress up as.

Most 75 Kirk's have rotted away, but there are a handful that still exist in various conditions from good to heavily rotted, to foam filled.

This mask is ultra rare and is consider to be the "Holy Grail" of Myers mask collecting.

* This mask is no longer in production, but may be found in a private collection.

MASK VALUED AT: $15,000 - $20,000
