Thanks dude, I thought about keeping the hair too, but the mask is already on the way. As a matter of fact, when I viewed the pics I got from the seller, the hair just looked really flat and blah. I got to see what it looked like through pics, so thinking that the hair wasn't actualy all that great, I set up an appointment with Scott (love his work) to have it redone, but then when I actually got to hold it in my hands, I realized the hair could be styled anyway I wanted it to. Even the color was spot on. So I had second thoughts, but Scott assured me that'd he'd go all out. I looked at alot of Scott's prior work on RZ masks and he's got the actual look of the hero down. His hair rehauls are top-notch. I know it'll look fasntastic either way.

Unless the hair was thinning or had noticeable bald spots then I don't see why you'd need to get it re-haired. Judging from those pictures it looks absolutely fine.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I didn't even have it for a day before I sent it to Q.O.T.S. for a rehair, and I miss it already. I think if the seller posted pics of the mask with the hair styled a little more toward a screen accurate look, I wouldn't have acted so much on impulse, and wouldn't have make the appointment with Q.O.T.S. However, in the end, I'm still happy that I did, because I know Scott is gonna hit a home run with it. It'll be a thicker redo, which is what I wanted in the first place, along with an even more screen accurate look. I love the way Scott does his RZ hair lines which are a spitting image to the Hero. The hair line on my copy seems to be a little more squared off when it gets toward the top, where as the hair lines on Scott's work are more evenly rounded off and just a tad bit farther back. These lines, IMO, along with thicker hair in some spots, color, and overall dirty looking grunginess (which is what Scott's work is) resemble the Hero.

That's a sweet pic....I've never seen that pic before. Yeah, I can see that it's a little cornered off as well. Good find man!

Congrats on your mask. The only thing I can see from the HERO pic rampageof78 posted is the hairline looked to be the correct height in the before pic. But Im sure there was more than one mask used in the movie out there with a lower hairline. Other than that it looks OUTSTANDING. I think the weathering on your copy is KILLER too. Thats a KEEPER for sure. Mike
