easiest hock for first time hock painter?

well, i kinda wanna try it out, so i think im going to buy a blank or 2 and take a shot at it. but i dont wanna do a pt3. besides pt3 which one would be the easiest for me to do, it being my first time, thanks much

Well zach, my first one that I did was a part 3, and that was pretty easy. You should head over to frightstuff.com and check out their selection of blanks. Ken is a great guy over there and the blanks are amazing. I would say try a remake or a pt 5. Thats just my 2 cents. Good luck bro and make sure to post pics.

5 would be the easiest after 3. You cant really mess up a VS mask either. If it doesnt turn out how you want, you can always turn it into a custom.

Ken is officially reopening on July 16th, he was gone due to Breaking bad. He said you can pre order as of July 1st and will process the orders in which they were recieved.

Does JDF have a site where I can look at his blanks?

Doubt you'll ever have this problem but because I both live in the UK and have NO money, I bought one of the Chinese knock off masks which has shape wise actually become my favourite hock... but it's a BASTARD to paint. I felt like committing suicide but I'm more than pleased with the result. You can get badly pre-painted ones on eBay but I put the work in and took it from this...
