T-800 Ultimate Bust

Postby RottenAngel » Thu Jun 07, 2012 2:47 am

Got this lifesize fella' coming (end of July). Made of resin & metal. Can't wait! I can't afford a full endoskeleton...I figure this is the next best thing. Only problem is how I'm going to display him. Also its in China...I hope everything works out!

While this is a very cool looking piece unfortunately its all recasted from sideshow pieces. If your ok with that cool, but thought you should know since these are not cheap.

Yes sir, I knew. Thanks though! Basically almost all props etc. from China are recast/copies. lol. He's solid though - 50lbs & lifesize. I got a ok deal though. $755 with shipping & insured. Ebay protected fully.
Things I wanted from Sideshow. T-800 clean version endoskull (I have a combat one that was "cleaned". Looks great. Only difference is in the reflection you can't see the blues, purplish rings...like as if he had oil on him.) I also always wanted the full scale arm. But, to get either nowadays I would have paid double if not triple what this torso bust cost.
It will also be something I'd never resell...So not worried about Sideshow seal/ bottom logo & numbered. So I'm cool with it. Thanks for checking out my post and commenting!

Congrats on a great looking piece. I have seen this around and wondered myself about this company. Please post some feedback about your experience with them once you get it in. And post plenty of pics too. Mike

Yes it does HMKbuyer! Its always good to see pics other than sellers. Yes, does look great! Your pics solved many worries but, one in particular. I know a lot of people were pissed when they got the 1st runs of Sideshows "clean" endoskull bust because the eyes were kind of crossed. This one of your friends eyes look great. I also liked your straight on back-shot (seller did not have straight on). I figured its neck would be curved a little because of his head position. Even on Sideshows endoskull you can see the 2 bars that go from head to collar are slightly contorted. Like he has his chin down & turning/scanning. Plus thanks for the straight on side shot... another pic that wasn't on sellers pics.
One question for you or friend though... I'm guessing the batteries go in the bottom? That would be a pain in the a**. lol.
So far I have an industrial table in mind to display. I also am planning on a acrylic box cover. Because dusting all those little crevases would also be a pain. But, all that will have to wait until I have him to get exact dimensions. For Example:
I have Sideshows T-700 & a "cleaned" T-800 endoskulls. Now by Sideshow's dimensions they are the exact same height. So I got two of the same acrylic boxes for them (boxes actually designed for football helmets - got 2 others with my Warlock & fred glove/sweater in as well..fits great). T-700 fit perfect but, for 800 I had to add about 1/2in extenders.

Thanks again for pics / easing my mind some!
