Nik asked that I post these template comparisons. I've been helping Nik pin point certain features here and there to help make this mask as accurate as possible. These are not the final templates as the arrows point to areas that have been reworked, but as one can see even at this previous stage the resemblance was uncanny! Now that the sculpt has been finalized, Nik plans on casting the mold this weekend if all goes as planned. The 2k was designed to look like a "mint" 75' Kirk right off the shelves, this mask is designed to replicate the common "distortions" that were evident in many 75' Kirks (Jay Allen's & Josh Warren's). This sculpt is truly bang on to an original 75' Kirk. The next set of pics posted by Nik will more than likely be of a pull. Stay tuned!

Is that the Kirk mask you are trying to match it to? That Kirk is foamed and the foam flattened the face's features.

Hey Josh, I used multiple 75' Kirks, these were just a few of the templates that I had. They were primarily used to match up facial details, eye placement, ear location, etc. I also used pictures of your old 75 Kirk as reference. The face of Nik's sculpt will not be "flattened" like those of Darren's foamed piece.
