yea, that'd be a good joke if I read past the first sentence. I don't care who the member is, making an angry "I'm leaving this forum!" thread is such a dramatic plea for attention. not worth my time. just a way of fishing for "don't go!!!!" and "you're better than that!" compliments.

a member respectfully moving on to different things and saying goodbye is another story.

I can honestly say, I don't think I could ever tell a fib like that, even on "April 1st". IF, the day ever came where I posted a thread stating "I FOUND AN ACTUAL DP 75 KIRK AT A GARAGE SALE"!!!! Or whatever, you can all rest assured, it's legit. However, the likelihood of that happening anyway is slim to none.

The "I found a Kirk" threads are such a cliche, been done many times over the years.
Some of my favorites are when people post their nice pieces for sale, only to have us scrolling down the page in bittersweet disappointment. Fell for it once...

Lol! I did that about 4 years ago and was bombarded with pm's. Not many people scrolled all the way down to see the payment was to be sent to aprilfool@earthlink.net.

I think a good one would be,this is if someone was ever fortunate enough to be able to find one to pull it off,actually source the Real Deal OG 75 Captain,but keep it under wraps and not say a word,yeah i know that would be tough to contain yourself lol,then come april fool day,post a thread saying ive found an old DPS mask but not sure what it is
