With my collection as it stands (with those I've decided as "must-keepers" for both JC & RZ Myers) I can honestly say I have already in my possession (only to truly be determined when I receive all masks I'm waiting to receive) what I believe it's safe to say are my Grails - much like those I see posted here :drinkers:

I'm half-way there with my grails. I've scored two NAG H78 Blanks, but they still need paint and hair. Then, it's GAME OVER!

MORE MYERS, MORE PROBLEMS!

My grail score is my Creep. I waited for a very long time to buy my first non mass-produced H1 Myers. I skipped out on all of them, up until the Creep. There was just something about it that stood out to me.

Can see why you have love for that piece..it is amazing. Is this sculpt based on the werewolf from "werewolf the tv series" by any chance, it looks strikingly similar?!!

Have a WMP NS or order that's going to be my grail when it's finished.

Also, believe the werewolf mask is from the Howling.

My absolute grails are my original Halloween III set. Those are the masks that I was after for years. There is so much sentimental value in those...I could never sell them. Damn, those were difficult to find...especially the Pumpkinhead.

In 1995, after I first met Don Post, Jr. at the Transworld Halloween Show in Chicago, he went back to his shop and tried looking for those molds to make me a set. He got home on a Sunday and on Monday he had 3 people, including his son, trying to track down those molds. After 4 days...nothing besides the Skull mold was found. After that, Don started to give me phone numbers to costume shops in the US that Don Post Studios sold the masks to; there must have been at least 300 shops on that list and I called every singe one of them. ZERO, NADA! Except an incredibly high phone bill! :)

Then later in 1996 a guy out of Indiana called Ray Shope put an ad in Fango about selling old Halloween masks. I contacted him and he sent me a catalog of what he was selling. (I think I still have that catalog!) He had a TON of stuff...80's Distortions, Don Post, Savage Eye, BSS...everything. He had a Green Witch listed and I immediately called. I bought 2 Green Witch's, a Glow Skull and some other masks. When the box arrived I was looking at it and noticed that all he did was put his name over the place where he was purchasing the masks from, so I made contact with the old store that he found and bought them out of Green Witch's and a few others. Talk about mask happiness! (PLUS, Ray's mark ups and being a jerk was something that I couldn't take!)

In 2001 or 2002 a Pumpkinhead mask showed up on eBay! I contacted the seller and we struck a deal, sadly...the original Pumpkinhead mask was re-painted with orange house paint so I had to have that re-painted...so I sent that off to Kelly Mann and about a month later it caught up with the originals.

Absolutely the hardest mask set to find...without a doubt.

There's scare in the air, a tale of wicked delight, a tale of a terrifying Halloween night.
