Yet another mask made using the Medley Kirk

Hey guys,

Bryan (Bry) is making yet another mask using the Medley Kirk. It's basically just a stuffed HMK. First it was the DCSM mask, now this. It really shows how little Bryan cares for his customers. For all of you who dropped $1,500 - $2000 for the HMK Kirk and/or Myers, I really feel for you. It was suppose to be a limited mask, but between the original run small masks, blanks and masks made from the HMK mould, the DCSM and now the H2SM, it was anything but limited. It's a real shame.

I agree, it looks pretty good in my opinion. Too bad Bryan is selling them.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't there people still waiting for their original HMK yet he's had time to do this & take on a new project/version ?? If he has time to do this & take as many photo's as he has & create the e-bay ad, then shouldn't he have time to get the masks sent out for people who have already paid?

That mask is amazing... I remember he posted a "Medley" Blank on eBay a few months back (I was this close to bidding on it, until I read the HMK thread and stopped myself, just didn't seem right despite the potential in the blank).

Really shatty situation (no pun intended). Beautiful "new" mask though... Wish there wasn't a stigma attached, then again I never really understood the need to buy a 1.5-2k mask, when cheaper/ more hero like versions exist.

It happens in all hobbies though. Buyers buy something thinking it's going to be forever rare, and the company/maker always will eventually make more due to demand.... It's just capitalism. Whether it be reissues of toys, or recasting a mask behind the scenes for a select few, in this world it always seems money will almost always trump ethics.

I see very little difference between this and the HMK, other than the 'pre-stretched' look. If an HMK was stuffed properly, I think it would look just like this.

After reading on the HMK thread since I signed up, I am disgusted by the fact that there is a link to any mask this guy comes out with on this site..good or bad. I dont mean any disrespect MadBug, I know what your intentions were for posting but all its going to do is advertise this guys work when he doesn't deserve it.

It has to do with the placement of the face on the head. The hmk, the face is leaning forward. On this is leaning a bit back and to the right, as it's supposed to. It just looks more kirk like than the hmk imo. This is what the hmk should have been.

If I were Trick or Treat Studios, I'd send a C&D . It is a cool looking mask, but sad customers are still waiting for HMKs and the supposed exclusivity of a mask made from that Medley Kirk casting is no longer the case. Three variations and counting.

My opinion is now fact...you weren't around ? ..it still an issue, people are still waiting for what they paid for.

This guy is still SH**ING on this community and this hobby, but hey lets wipe the slate clean because he made a new Flavor
