The fourth entry in the Wrong Turn franchise, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, turns back the clock and is a prequel to the first movie from 2003. This film will likely be released later in this month of October. Wrong Turn 4 will be a direct-to-video release, as were Wrong Turn 2: Dead End and Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead. The three previous Wrong Turn movies have dealt with characters who end up in the remote woods of West Virginia. There they’ve encountered a family of genetic freaks who enjoy hunting, killing and consuming humans.
The first Wrong Turn is of note for two reasons. First, it starred hottie Eliza Dushku; and second, it was written by Alan B. McElroy, who helmed the script for 1988’s Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. The Wrong Turn sequels have rehashed the same basic story, but have proven to be a success in the direct-to-video market. This movie series contains plenty of guts, gore and kills.
