Kim Gottlieb-Walker’s recent book, On Set with John Carpenter, contains several photographs that will please Michael Myers and Halloween fans. Although the book is not exclusively devoted to Halloween, it serves to present Kim Gottlieb-Walker’s work as a still photographer for John Carpenter’s films Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), The Fog, Escape from New York and Christine.

John Carpenter himself penned the book’s foreword and provided some commentary throughout the book. If you’re a fan of the Halloween series, it goes without saying that you’ve probably seen most of the photos contained in On Set with John Carpenter already. Site member Halloween shared some of the photos included in the book, and what is startling is that in some cases you can see Michael Myers‘ eyes in the photos from Halloween (1978). Another forum member pointed out that, compared to the negatives of the same photos that he has, the Michael Myers eyes are visible but they’re not as obvious as in the stills in the book.
